Uncle Ernie

Timothy has been acting for 43 years ever since he showed up to an audition and played a 1940s newsboy in The Solid Gold Cadillac at Weber State College. He has played many roles over the years and would be hard-pressed to decide which were his favorites. For many reasons, The Ziegfeld is a second home for him and the theater has provided him with a myriad of memorable experiences. He cannot believe his incredible luck to be cast in Tommy

Krystal DeCristo


Krystal is a sophomore at the University of Utah pursuing a degree in Musical Theatre. This is her first production with The Zig and she couldn’t be more excited to be back performing! She wants to thank her family, friends, and the amazing creative team and cast for their faith in her. She hopes you enjoy the show! 

Jeremy R. Gross


is so excited to be back at The Zig after playing Jerry Lukowski in The Full Monty. He received his 5 performing degrees, including a BFA in Musical Theatre, in his home state of Wyoming. Previous Credits include Barnaby in Hello Dolly!, Corny Collins in Hairspray, and Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors.

Cameron is back on stage after some time away successfully getting into law enforcement. Notable stage credits include The Producers, Shrek, Children of Eden, La Cage Aux Folles, Spamalot, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and much much more. Thanks to his wife for the endless support and love she provides, and is excited to finally share a stage with her.

Lindsay Kapetanov


Lindsay is so proud to be sharing the stage with her amazing husband for the first time. Previous roles include Mamma Bear in "Shrek", Hope Harcourt "Anything Goes", and Miss Clairee "Steel Magnolias" 

Becky Jeanne Knowles

The Gypsy

Becky has performed in almost 40 productions at several community and professional theaters across the Wasatch front.  A few of her most memorable roles have been The Drowsy Chaperone in The Drowsy Chaperone, Elizabeth Benning in Young Frankenstein, and as The Housekeeper in Utah Opera's 2017 production of The Man of La Mancha. Becky can also be seen at the Natural History Museum of Utah where she works as the public programs show manager/casting director/ actor.

Kate Konchar


Kate is excited to be a part of The Who's Tommy, her second show at the Zig. She has taken two years of vocal performance at Weber State University and was an active performer in high school. She was most recently seen as Professor Trelibra in A Fairly Potter... Kate's passion is for singing, and she enjoys performing at open mic nights, karaoke bars, and in the shower. She would like to thank Chris and her three dogs--Eve, Furlock Bones, and Dog--for their love and support. 

Austin Payne

Cousin Kevin

Austin has performed in a wide variety of roles such as Jean Valjean, Tevye, Major Rizzoli in Passion and The Angel in Grease. Austin also enjoys working in the film industry, he particularly likes the subtleties of film acting and how different it is from acting in a stage play. This is Austin's second performance at Ziegfeld with the first being Beauty and The Beast, where he stared as Cogsworth.

Laura Rizzo

Sally Simpson

Laura is thrilled to be making her Ziegfeld Theater debut in Tommy! Originally from Portland, OR, Laura is in Utah working on her BFA in Musical Theatre at The University of Utah. She was previously seen in the all female cast of Jesus Christ Superstar last fall. Laura thanks The Zig for this incredible opportunity, her friends, family and her mom for believing her passion and supporting her along the way.

Jason Shumate


Jason has previously been seen as Gangster #1 in The Drowsy Chaperone and as Conrad Birdie in Bye-Bye Birdie. He's excited for Tommy to be his debut at The Ziegfeld Theater, and is honored to work as the props master for the show. In his spare time Jason practices martial arts and failing with women.

Dee Tua'one


Dee is like a mince pie of talent. Juicy, spicy, nutty, and for some stupid reason, raisins are there too. They have been seen in Salt Lake City and Ogden with Good Company Theatre, Wasatch theater, here at Ziegfeld and others in role like Piragua (In the Heights), Motormouth Maybelle (Hairspray) and more.

Evan Vincent


Evan, originally from New Jersey, is a sophomore at the University of Utah, where he studies musical theatre. Some of his favorite roles include Edna in Hairspray, Mary Sunshine in Chicago, and Juror number 7 in 12 angry men. After Tommy, Evan will be in the fall musical Chess at the university of Utah. Sko Utes.

Jace von App


Jace is excited to be apart of The Who's Tommy. He is currently enrolled in the University of Utah's Musical Theatre program, earning his BFA in Musical Theatre. He would like to thank his family and friends for the constant support and belief in him. Enjoy the show!

Landon Weeks


Landon is excited to return to The Zigfeld stage in this production of Tommy. Past credits include Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Laurie in Little Women,  and several past productions for The Ziegfeld Theater. He would like to deeply thank those that have supported him in the arts to whom he is eternal grateful.
