Adyson Brady

Orphan

is so thrilled to be part of Oliver!, since this is one of her favorite plays. She has four years of theater experience with The Zig and Zig Youth Theater. Past roles include Flounder (Little Mermaid Jr.), Tessie (Annie), JoJo (Seussical), Flobby (A Fairly Potter Christmas), and most recently, Iago (Aladdin Jr.). Adyson is so lucky to have supportive friends and family. She loves theater and hopes she does it for a very long time!

Rebecca Stephens

Bet/Ensemble

is thrilled to be part of Oliver! with this amazing cast, crew and directors. Theatre has always been part of her life from local community shows to leads at Snow College. The Zig has helped this passion grow into pursuing a theatre degree. She'd like to thank her family and friends for support and listening to countless hours of practices.

Andrew Cole

Mr. Bownlow/Ensemble

is back for his 16th production with The Zig. Favorite roles here include Mrs. Brumbake in Peter and the Starcatcher, Adolfo in The Drowsy Chaperone, Edna in Hairspray and King Arthur in Spamalot. Andrew is originally from the Washington DC area where he performed at the White House and the Kennedy Center. He can currently be seen as a performer with the NHMU Swedish Viking Exhibit. 

Brogan Wright

Artful Dodger

found his love for theater about a year ago while participating in the ensemble of Bonneville High's production of Children of Eden. Most recently he participated in the Ziegfeld Academy's productions of Aladdin Jr. (Jafar) and A Fairy Tale Christmas Carol (Old King Cole, the ghost of Christmas Present). Brogan likes theater because he can "put on a costume and just be some one else for a while" and also because "It's just fun!"  Brogan wants to thank Kristin Parry for being an awesome mentor and sharing her love for theater with him.

Abby Payne-Peterson

is so excited to be in this production of Oliver! In the past, Abby has performed as Lily in Secret Garden, Cosette in Les Misérables and Gertie in Oklahoma! Abby is so grateful for all those who've helped her with this process—her loving and supportive husband, the fabulous production staff and her loving parents. 

Amber Simister

This is Amber’s first show at The Zig and she has enjoyed getting to know all the cast and crew. Her love for theater has inspired her to be involved in multiple productions at Morgan High School including Footloose and The Little Mermaid. Amber would like to thank everyone for giving her the opportunity to be in this amazing production. 

Bryan Andrews

Choreographer

started out choreographing for The Ziegfeld Theater with the Zig Youth program and has since choreographed Annie, making Oliver! his second mainstage choreography project here. Cole Elder

is a sophomore at Layton High and loves doing theater. He has been performing for four years, including with Zig Youth Theater. He thanks his mother for putting up with him being away during this difficult time of moving and stress on the family. “Thank you for pulling through to make this experience great for me.” 

David Boice

Mr. Sowerberry/Dr. Grimwig/Knife Grinder

is pleased to be returning to The Zig for his fifth show. David hails from Northern Utah, where he attended Utah State University, majoring in theater. Recent credits include: ‘Colonial Ricci’, Passion, ‘Lord Aster’, Peter and the Starcatcher, ‘ Franz’, Appropriate, ‘Sam’, The Flick, ‘Lt Shrank’, West Side Story, ‘Grandaire’, Les Miserables, ‘Charles Strickland’, in David Mamet’s Race.  He wishes to thank his family for their love and support. 

Declan McAlhany

Oliver

has been performing with the Zig Youth Theater program for three years in The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Wizard of Oz and A Fairytale Christmas Carol. He recently played the role of Nathan in the Zig's production of The Full Monty. When he's not acting or singing, Declan loves to swim, ice skate, travel and study geography. He is so excited to be playing his first lead role as Oliver and would like to thank his mom and dad for their support.

Randy Barton

Fagin

was last seen on stage at The Egyptian Theatre in Park City as Host and MC for most shows. Last theatrical performances include one-man video theatre productions of “Sinatra”, “Handel Creates Messiah”, “Rembrandt” and “Lordy Lordy”. Mr. Barton has appeared as Jesus and as Pilate in “Jesus Christ Superstar” in Cathedrals and at The Cathedral of Theatre – The Egyptian.  From 1972 to 2001 Randy performed at SLAC, Westminster, U of U, and most often with Park City Performances in Park City. He is also a radio host daily on KPCW in Park City and formerly the host of Park City Faces on PCTV.  Randy is happy to be back acting on stage in this production!

Pippa Parry

At only eight years old, Pippa has been in over ten shows at The Ziegfeld Theater, many with Zig Youth Theater. Pippa loves dancing with her friends and going out with her family. She is always ready for another rehearsal, and doesn’t plan on stopping performing any time soon.

Wyatt Christensen

Orphan/Nipper

age 9, is a natural performer. He enjoys making others laugh especially with his very expressive mannerisms. He has performed with the Zig Youth Theater in Wizard of Oz, Seussical the Musical, Cinderella and Aladdin. He is very excited to be in his first main stage show. Wyatt is an avid reader and finishes a few books each week and also spends a lot of his time (while not on stage) writing short stories and painting and he hopes to be in more main stage shows in the next few years.

Kristin Parry

Mrs. Sowerberry/Mrs. Bedwin/Ensemble

is the director of the Zig Arts Academy and director of all the kids and youth productions here at The Ziegfeld Theater. Oliver! is a real treat, as it gives her the opportunity to act along side quite a few of her students and two of her daughters. She loves how Dickens teaches Victorian England the worth of a soul, giving social commentary on work houses and the poor treatment of their most vulnerable. When we retell Oliver's story, we recommit to helping those in need and loving our fellow man more fully. “Enjoy the show!”

Kelsie Reynolds

is excited to be performing for the second time at The Zig. You may remember her as Hermione Granger in A Fairly Potter Christmas Carol. Kelsie loves all aspects of theatre, but musical theatre is her absolute favorite. Favorite role to date: Fantine in Les Misérables. Kelsie would like to thank her family and friends for encouraging and supporting her in all her endeavors. She also would like to give a big thank you to everyone at The Zig who worked hard to make Oliver! possible. “Break a leg y’all!”

Keely Parry

has been with The Ziegfeld Theater as long as she can remember. She has performed in over sixteen productions with Zig Youth Theater and on the main stage, and teaches dance classes for kids at the Ziegfeld Arts Academy. Keely is sixteen years old and hopes to continue singing and dancing through college! 

Mary Peterson

is beyond excited to be back on the Ziegfeld stage!  Besides theater, Mary likes to travel, ride horses, swim, tumbling, fishing, hangout with her 6 siblings, cook, play with dogs/animals, and do art. Mary is a Zig Arts Academy alumni (Birdie, Aladdin). Thanks to The Zig, Hugh Hanson, Bryan Andrews, Kyle Lawrence, Kate Konchar, Alicia Kondrick, and El Hall for making this amazing! And to her family for their time and patience. “I hope you have a great time and enjoy the show!”

Henry Bell

Oliver

is excited to be in this production and to work with these amazing people. He has previously been seen in Zig Youth Theater productions of Aladdin and Bye Bye Birdie and is humbled to be making his main stage debut. Henry has received extensive dance training watching The Backyardigans. He would like to thank his family for always loving and supporting him. 

Kate Konchar

is excited to be stage managing Oliver!, her third show at The Zig. She was most recently seen as minister's wife/ensemble in The Who's Tommy. Kate's passion is for singing, and she enjoys spontaneous showtune jams with her friends. She would like to thank The Zig for creating this beautiful community of theater around us. 

Jerry Costner

Mr. Bumble/Ensemble

recently moved to Utah in search of theatrical opportunities. When not on stage he can be found in his elementary school classroom teaching theatre, art, and music. His favorite roles include Stephano from The Tempest, Nunzio from Over the River, and Lazar Wolf from Fiddler on the Roof. Jerry is grateful for all the people at The Zig and the opportunity he has had to work with such an amazing cast and crew.

Jace R. Toll

is 11 years old and the youngest of three. He enjoys being involved in theater and has participated in Zig Arts Academy productions of The Wizard of Oz, Suessical, Cinderella; a British Panto, and Aladdin Kids. Jace is on both a comp swim and soccer team. He loves running, riding his scooter and bike, hiking and camping. He plays the piano and likes to sing. He is really excited to be in his first main stage show, Oliver! 

Delaney Wille

 is a classic theater kid, as she really never stops singing show tunes, or at least playing them on repeat in her head. Her most recent roles have included Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie with Zig Arts Academy, the Bird Woman in Mary Poppins, and a Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast. She would like to thank her mom for driving her everywhere and Rick Rea for inspiring her and always encouraging her. She's so thankful for the opportunity to work with this amazing cast and crew and hopes you leave this theater thinking "please sir, I want some more!" 

Josh Bronson

just turned 11 years old and this is his first time doing a main stage production at The Zig. He has been in six youth productions through the Zig Youth Theater Program, his last role being the Sultan in Aladdin Kids. So far his favorite role has been Jacob Midas in A Fairy Tale Christmas Carol. He loves crafts, rock climbing, fishing, doing anything in the outdoors and theater of course! 

Gage Reese

Noah Claypole/Strawberry Seller

This is Gage’s second show at The Zig. He was most recently seen here in Footloose. Gage will be starring as Joseph in Joseph… at his high school this fall. He looks forward to more opportunities to perform in the Ogden area. “Thanks to my parents, family and friends for their love and support. I love you all!”

Jack Whitby

Artful Dodger

began performing at an early age, appearing in theater camp performances at the Treehouse Museum as early as six years old. Since then, he has played the role of Michael Banks in Mary Poppins and Peter Cratchit in Scrooge, both at Terrace Plaza Playhouse. He has also played Young Abel in Children of Eden at Bonneville High School and Macbeth in his elementary school’s production of Macbeth. Jack plays the violin and piano and has studied voice, and he enjoys playing video games. 

Erica Choffel

Nancy

has been doing theater for 15 years now. She loves all aspects of it, including: design, building and painting. She is super happy to be portraying such a wonderful role. She would like to thank The Ziegfeld for another opportunity to play and to thank her husband for all his support, especially bringing dinner to her every night!

Hailey Randall

is a sophomore in high school and could not be more thrilled to be part of her fifth show at The Zig. Favorite roles include Scarecrow (The Wizard of Oz), Queen Aggravain (Once Upon a Mattress), and Kim MacAfee (Bye Bye Birdie) with Zig Youth Theater. She’d like to thank her family and friends for supporting her in whatever she chooses to do, and she can’t wait to perform with her fabulous cast members.
